Sexual Offender Information

Any person convicted of an Illinois Statute listed under 720 ILCS 5; or Federal, or law of another State that is equivalent to the Sexually Dangerous Person Act is required to register as a sex offender within the municipality or county in which he/she resides. A sex offender will re-register every year in person for a period of 10 years from conviction or release from a penal institution, hospital or other institution or facility, whichever is later.
