The CDC defines “Current Smoker” as someone who has smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lifetime and currently smokes daily or some days of the week.

“Former Smoker” is someone who has smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lifetime and is currently not smoking.

“Non-Smoker” is someone who has never smoked 100 cigarettes in their lifetime. 

From 2010-2014, 14.4% of Lake county residents were smokers and 23.6% were former smokers.
