Public Defender's Office Remodel
Description: In February 2007, it was identified that there was an opportunity to perform needed infrastructure improvements to the County Facility that houses the Public Defender's Office. In an effort to take advantage of the remodeling opportunity the Lake County Board approved a consultant change order to include replacement of the existing glazing, renovation of electrical systems, replacement of plumbing systems and the installation of an ADA approved elevator. This new facility provides the Public Defender's Office with the space required to better serve the public and the capability to expand as staffing needs increase.
