Lake County strongly encourages its residents to get involved in the decision making process for the use of grant funds. This input assists the Community Development Commission to make appropriate and informed decisions.

On or about July 10, 2014 Lake County will request the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to release Federal funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended (PL 93-383), for the following projects, all of which are detailed in the 2013 Housing & Community Development Annual Action Plan.
EARLY NOTICE AND PUBLIC REVIEW OF PROPOSED ACTIVITIES IN THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN
This is to give notice that the Lake County Community Development Division [under CFR 92 Part 58] has conducted an evaluation as required by Executive Order 11990, in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C, Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management, to determine the potential affect that its activities in the floodplain and wetland designated areas will have on the human environment for The Lake County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program under [HUD grants B-14-UC-17-0003].
