2015 Housing Community Development Annual Action Plan First Amendment
The 2015 Annual Action Plan
The Lake County Consortium will be submitting a combined Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This first amendment to the Annual Action Plan defines the Consortium’s activities for the 2015 program year (May 1st, 2015 – April 30th, 2016) funding available through the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG).
The Housing & Community Development Commission will hold a Public Hearing on June 10th, 2015 on this second submittal of the 2015 Action Plan to review and discuss the recommendations for funding under these programs. The public comment period is from June 5th to July 9th. This is the second public hearing on the 2015 Action Plan.
Public Hearing Information
An important part of the process of developing the Annual Action Plan is citizen participation and input. All interested parties, including citizens, local officials, and agency representatives are invited and urged to attend this Public Hearing. The Housing & Community Development Commission will give final approval of the Annual Action Plan at its June 10th meeting to forward on to the Lake County Board. Lake County Board is likely to approve the first amendment to the 2015 Action Plan on July 14th, 2015.
All comments and questions will be considered. Persons in need of special arrangements (translator, specific disabilities, etc.) should contact staff at least three (3) days prior to the meeting date at 847.377.2475.

Community Development activities are overseen by the Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC), which meets the second Wednesday of every month at 3:30 PM.
