Lake County Automated Meter Reading Program
Lake County is embarking on a program that will replace about 20,600 water meters with new automated meters in 2013 and 2014. The new meters will replace older, out of date units with new technology that will identify high water usage and potential leaks. New software will also provide customers on-line access to usage information. The new meters will result in smarter water use for customers. Watch the video to see how the meter replacement process works.
Lake County has contracted with Professional Meters, Inc. (PMI) to install the new meters. You will receive a postcard from PMI with information on how to schedule an appointment. Please call the toll free number to schedule a meter replacement installation at a convenient time for you.
