Technical Advisory Committee
assists in the development, revision and review of the Lake County Watershed Development Ordinance (WDO) standards and administrative procedures, and makes recommendations to the Commission Board. The 12-member committee is made up of representatives from the development, environmental, municipal and consulting engineering fields.
Municipal Advisory Committee
is a forum for local government representatives to discuss inter-jurisdictional issues and projects, make recommendations to the Technical Advisory Committee on WDO administration, and to serve as a resource. MAC meets quarterly. See MAC

Watershed Management Boards (WMB)
SMC is now accepting Request for Proposals for its annual SMC Watershed Management Board (WMB) cost-share grant program for projects and watershed partnerships. There are four WMBs - one per major watershed. WMB membership includes the chief elected official from each municipality, township, and active drainage district; and county board member whose district is located wholly or predominantly in the respective watershed.

WMB Representative Appointment Form
