After the Sale

• Those that participated in the sale must have payments for purchases posted in the Lake County Treasurer’s Office by Thursday, November 21st, at 12:00 (noon).
• Reports of taxes bought by the tax buyers will be available after the sale.
• Certificates will not be mailed
• You will be notified when the Tax Certificates are available for pick up at:  

                               Lake County Treasurer's Office             
                               18 N. County St., Rm. 102                    
                                Waukegan, IL 60085

• Contact the Lake County Clerk's office regarding legal notices.
• We strongly advise that you read the Illinois Statutes pertaining to the tax sale (35ILCS200).
