If you need to update your record or register for the first time, voter registration is open now and is conveniently available online, in-person at many locations around the county, or by mail.
Each applicant must be a United States citizen, 18 years of age by Election Day, and meet a 30-day Lake County residency requirement. Two forms of valid identification must be presented at the time of registration.

SMC is now seeking proposals from local project sponsors who would like to have their projects included in the Countywide Watershed BMP Implementation Program. These projects must help reduce or eliminate nonpoint source pollution. Projects identified in or supported by an existing watershed-based plan are prioritized for funding by Illinois EPA.
